The Model 153 Type B features:

• This mechanical Koepfer hobbing machine has an automatic loading system and is capable of producing spur, helical, splines and worm gears.

• This machine is totally remanufactured and includes a new electrical control system, complete mechanical rebuild and certification to original Koepfer factory geometric specifications.

• It has a two-cut cycle, crown hobbing, automatic hob shifting, variable hob speed and a differential.

• The automatic loading system is the famous Koepfer flexible system, which allows loading of shafts, pinions as well as bore-type gears.
