Koepfer America is the North American representative for Wenzel GearTec in the gear metrology market. Koepfer America provides a complete line of Wenzel GearTec gear measuring machines and coordinate measuring machines.

Wenzel GearTec is a division of Wenzel Precision GmbH of Wiesthal, Germany, a second generation family-based CMM machine builder. Wenzel GearTec specializes in CNC inspection / metrology machines for gears, splines, and other special forms.

Wenzel GearTec offers three series of gear inspection / gear metrology machines:

1) The WGT Series which is dedicated gear inspection machines with granite construction throughout.

2) The LH Gear Series that consists of bridge-type inspection machines that have integrated rotary tables.

3) The new economical smartGEAR Series that provides a very capable four axis CNC gear inspection machine at a lower price point.

Wenzel GearTec metrology equipment offer CNC control with air bearing technology on all four axes, high-precision rotary air bearing tables, granite construction throughout, and Renishaw 3-D scanning probes. These features can be found on models WGT 350, WGT 500, and WGT 1000, as well as, the LH Gear Series.

Wenzel GearTec also offers combination CMM with rotary table and gear inspection software for parts from 5 to 2000mm.
