Zeiss GEAR PRO software enables gear tooth measurements on all Zeiss CMM machines. Active scanning technology using the Calypso software allows all types of gears to be measured using 3 or 4 axes (with or without rotary table). DuraMax Inspection Machine
The shop friendly Duramax machine can be an ideal solution for economical CMM and Gear Measuring needs. The Duramax provides a 500mm cube measuring envelope using the Zeiss VAST XXT scanning probe head with automatic probe changing capability.

For more demanding gear inspection requirements a rotary table can be provided on the ACCURA, PRISMO or MMZ measuring machines. These tables become an additional programmable axis that will simplify the measurement of gears and other rotary parts. True scanning capability for this 4th axis is standard. Zeiss Rotary Tables (RT) can be either machine integrated or portable; the choice is dependent upon the solution to fit your needs. Machines for gear diameters up to 3,000mm are available. Horizontal mounted RT.s provide a solution for long shaft type components.
